FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS:

Now that I have filed and announced to run for Sheriff of Sarasota County, I am working to get my name on the ballot in August through petition. This is not a small task, as I have little time to get more than 3,000 valid petitions signed! I am asking you to not only complete a petition yourself, but to help me by getting as many as you possibly can signed and returned to me no later than May 18th.

The only requirement of those who sign petitions is that they be a current registered voter in Sarasota County—party affiliation does not matter. If you would commit to getting 35-50 petitions signed in the next 4 weeks, we will be successful and will avoid the $8,500 filing fee!

Included on this page is a downloadable and printable pdf of the petition to put me on the ballot. You can download it and forward this to everyone on your e-mail list or print as many as you like. I WILL DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY to help you in this process. If you would like me to print and deliver blank petitions to your home or place of business, please let me know. I will also gladly pick up signed petitions at your convenience.
